MOTHER SWAN TAKES BABIES UNDER HER WING (адаптированный текст)

to take somebody under one's wing – взять под крыло
outing [ˈaʊtɪŋ] – прогулка, пикник
to give (gave-given) a lift - подвезти
nest - гнездо
precious [ˈpreʃəs= (darling) драгоценный

A family outing. Mother swan and her babies are enjoying themselves. But the babies get tired. They want to get on their Mother's back. Mother swan does not mind. She helps them to get up on her back. Then she covers them with her wings. She looks to see if they are all there. She is very protective. Her babies will ot fall off. She is happy to give her babies a lift on her back. She glides back to her nest with her precious cargo on her back… Once a mother – always a mother.
