FACTS:
The policeman grabbed the African-American student's neck and forced her backward.
The desk went to the floor along with the girl.
The policeman dragged the girl across the floor.
The black student was then dragged outside the classroom.
The officer has since been fired.
The girl was uninjured.
OPINION:
Such use of force against young people who are sitting in their classrooms is shocking, scandalous, monstrous.
School should be a place to learn and grow, not a place to be abused (atttacked).
